2 Broke Girls 2×01: And the Hidden Stash

Our favorite not so rich girls are back with more inappropriate comments!

1. What just happened?!
Well basically that sums up the biggest part of show, don’t you think?! No worries, that is exactly what we love about it! But back to the question. The storyline of Caroline’s fading wealthy life is still keeping things interesting. This time it’s about the big auction of the Channing estate and winning back a tin loving cup that Caroline once won with her horse Chestnut. After visiting Caroline’s father in prison the girls are convinced he stashed 60,000 dollars in the wooden base. Are our lovely poor girls hitting the jackpot?

2. What was the most memorable quote or dialog this episode?
Which wasn’t?! Talking about Zooey Deschanel’s look being the least expensive and still getting laid (sorry Zooey, that was funny) or the “did I say I?” bit. Our girls always deliver. But the winner is Max with: “Well, I’m a bitch bitch.” It shows how awesome Max is as a person and as a friend. Go get him, girl!

3. Cuteness vs. Useless
+ The first scene is good old-fashioned 2 Broke Girls: totally inappropriate and super funny (to sum it up: Max’ boobs, Oleg talking about sex, making fun of Han Lee’s length, Caroline babbling as usual and Earl’s witty lines). It’s one big welcome back for the fans.
+ Caroline’s outfit during the action was funny, but Max made it even funnier by introducing her as Zooey Deschanel and Katie Holmes or was it Jennifer Love Hewitt?
– The moral speech completely spelled out for us was just a little bit too much… We may press the off button on our brains when we watch the show, but that doesn’t mean they shut down completely.

4. Rate it! (on a scale from 0 to 10)
Let’s start with an 8. Despite of the moral compass being in our face, we missed our girls and they killed it with a lot of one-liners this episode. Props for the writers!
