New: foetus headphones.

1. What just happened?!
Haley leaves in the morning for her first day at work. Yeah, wonder how that went.

Luke and Manny’s football team tied for the final spot for the play-offs, but they have no field to practice on. And what do you do when you can’t find a field? Right, you build one! Claire is on a mission to turn a stinky old area into baseball paradise. Cam even put on his overalls to help her…

But wait. Got a little distracted there. The two also find a perfect house to flip. Basically to buy it, improve it and sell it. That could make a fortune, right?? After showing the house to Phil and Mitchell, Phil is in his typical cheerleader mode supporting his wife and brother-in-law, while Mitchell is against the whole plan. I mean, think of all the risks! Yet, do not let you get fooled there! Phil is secretly convinced as well that Cam and Claire will fail. But why mention that, when you can let Mitchell take the fall? Good evil thinking there Mr. Dunphy. Too bad Mitchell is on to you, so get ready for a taste of your own medicine. And for Cam and Claire finding out. (Oh oh.)

Meanwhile, Gloria takes her baby on ‘touristic tours’ and gives it a first row ticket to her very own awful lullaby concert. How is Jay gonna break the news that Gloria can’t sing? I mean, really can’t.

2. What was the most memorable quote or dialog this episode?
Phil, giving Haley some life lessons for her first day at work: “Stay focused. Never…hahahah check it out Cam in overalls.”
Luke: “Will you choke up a little?” Manny: “Probably when they play the national anthem.”
Jay: “Poppit buy TEN diamond rings to get that mockingbird to shut the hell up.”
Gloria: “That’s great, I think that the sound of my voice shouldn’t be the only thing that the baby should hear.” Jay: “Same page.”
Cam: “Mitchell, you know what I’ve realized?” Mitchell: “That some thoughts are better left unexpressed?”

3. Cuteness vs. Useless
+ First story line for pregnant Gloria and grumpy Jay that I got a laugh out of. The singing was hilarious, Jay’s reaction as well.
+/- Wait, what? Haley got a job? Where? What does she do? Was she indeed late for her first day? How did her first day go? Nopes? No answers this week? Opening the episode with it but never mentioning it again? Alright, great story bro.

4. Rate it! (on a scale from 0 to 10)
Aww they couldn’t have left us hanging with something more exciting for the winter break? I don’t know, with a child-birth maybe? Still, a solid episode: 7/7,5.

What do you think of this episode?
