Christmas Music Golden Oldies

Christmas hits from the old days: Bing Crosby, Wham! and Boney M

In the final hours ‘til Christmas Eve it’s not too late for a last-minute update on your Christmas playlist. We already informed you on some recent Christmas songs, but don’t forget to blast some wintery classics as well. Which one you ask?

Bing Crosby ft. David Bowie – Little Drummer Boy / Peace on Earth
Bing Crosby, yeah you might have heard of him. Crosby released tons of mighty good old Christmas classics which we can easily name in a ten minute long recital. Let’s not bore you with that and give you one of our personal favorites. One where he’s joined by David Bowie (you might have heard of that guy as well).

Wham! – Last Christmas
Thank you, girl who broke the heart of a sweater-and-perm-wearing George Michael. Almost thirty years later we can still enjoy the guilty pleasure outcome of that.

Boney M – Mary’s Boy Child
Yah maannnnn, Merry Christmas. Christmas is also for dancing. Boney M is very appropriate for your dancy moments.

There are so so many more songs to share with you. Some examples are Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams, Lonely this Christmas by MUD, Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade, Thank God it’s Christmas by Queen, Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John Lennon, Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney, Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms, Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea and Do They Know it’s Christmas by Band Aid. Plus, shame of you if you forgot to include Mariah’s All I Want For Christmas classic.
